I really think Bob has some mental issues? Funny how is loves to point out faults in others yet he overlooks is poor hurricane forecasts of last year! Wrong big time on everyone! He ignores that though... funny

I think is pretty simple to say that Bob trashes or tries too trash the National Weather Service because they turned his butt down a long time ago! lol

BoB! First you put down Dr Gray for his hurricane forecasts now you like him again because he does not agree with climate change going on? come one man stick with one thing.. you just pick and choose what makes sense to you... dude your just a basic TV weather guy thats it... period end of story.

Nope Bob has to ok the post first, if he does not like it he will not allow it. Censorship big time! Esp when it makes him look stupid.

Funny, Bob blasts the paper for not report the full story yet he censors the crap out of his blog only allowing those comments he agrees with? lol what a joke you are BOB... really you are the joke of the media community even your own!
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on December 14, 2007, 4:08 pm
Poor Bob the guy just does not understand climate research. Those TV wanna bee forecasters tend to be that way. Funny how he flooded yet he is a weather dude and should have known better to buy a house in that area? lol what a dummy...

LOL Hurricane may be coming towards USA! lol Wonder what Bob's excuse will be this time.. I bet he says NHC is fudging their data again...

California has pretty beaches and an attractive populace. Louisiana has nasty swamps and an ignorant populace that reelects the same deadbeats again and again. California has the noble Hollywood sign; Louisiana has billboards advertising Wagner's Meat. No contest!

Stanley and Phylis? Methinks Bob watched "The Office" on a rival affiliate Thursday night and borrowed the names for his "aw shucks, golly gee, neat-o!" fishing story. And Captains Hylton & Bob? Hello -- game show emcee/announcer Bob Hilton! Bob probably just spent a long (no pun intended) weekend at home with his wife, l'artiste.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on October 22, 2007, 9:46 am
He is promoting the fishing industry now. I bet he was picked on as a nerd most of his days while in school. Sources tell me that the station had a "closed door" meeting about changing up their staff which included Bob!
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on October 19, 2007, 3:02 pm
Slow week for Bob? No weather information to post, no anecdotes about those clods at the NHC, no fairs or festivals to promote?
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on October 15, 2007, 8:02 am
Funny how he calls the guys at the NHC his friends! LOL From what I understand pretty much everyone who knows him thinks he is a moron, including his friends at the news station. Tell'n ya this blog is his ED solution, he gets off on in when someone post, BOb you are my rock of hope during hurricane season.. etc etc
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on October 14, 2007, 9:55 pm
Bob is name-calling the NHC again. His two-sided antics are pretty boring too, to all except himself.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 29, 2007, 2:30 pm
Funny watching how Bob is not back tracking on the number of named storms predicted.... hmmm go back just a little and you will read what he said was very different... Jeff Master's blog is NOT intended to calm down Louisiana people whom chose to live below sea-level. TV Meteorology is just that TV not real meteorology.

I think I should get a well deserved public "thankyou" for bringing some meaning to Bob's blog which I am sure you will agree was totally dead and useless before I brought new life to it. You're welcome....

Signing up for an account on Blogger is just signing up for an account on gmail.
Easy.
Email addresses aren't even posted on the new blog.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 24, 2007, 6:39 pm
I think some people might choose not to register an account simply because they don't want to open their email to spam harvesting. I get enough of that already and have become vigilant about signing up for anything online for fear of having to devote my life to sorting through junk email. PS: if you want some REAL negative comments, play around on wikimapia.org for a couple of hours. You can even vote for or against the comments.

Seems a little fishy that over 500 plus voted that they love the new blog yet less than 1% ever leave a message? Fishy... You know that blog is being censored BIG TIME to help Bob look good, he NEVER has explained why he was off by 360 degrees on his forecast of the those past 3 hurricanes... just ignored that guy and would not answer... fishy...

Why don't any of you Anonymous posters post on the new blog? There may not be many posts on the new blog because it is being used properly now.

Bob is just a broadcast meterologists, that why he just tell us the existing news on a storm and won't forecast what HE thinks the storm will do or will it will go. Heck I could do what he does..
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 20, 2007, 10:46 pm
What's even funnier is all the posts Bob has made while saying very little. Mostly just calling other forecasters out for hyping the storm. It's in the Gulf, tell me what it might or might not do! Don't get all wishy-washy about the uncertainty of it all. This is why I check more than one source for information, to get a full scope of the situation.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 20, 2007, 4:30 pm
Funny on the new blog there is over 450 people voting they like it yet only a few comments if any made? hmmm sounds fishy!
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 18, 2007, 9:06 pm
Methinks if the Anonymous guy can't post, then everyone else doesn't have him to post complaints about. End result: 0 posts on a daily basis. My memory may be off, but there weren't that many comments posted before the anonymous mayhem began, were there?

Web Master,
You may want to see if there is some glitch to posting. I'm surprised that people aren't posting comments. I can't log in. It is saying that my password is incorrect. I know one other person said they couldn't post either. Thanks!
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 18, 2007, 4:15 pm
Hater same here. That new site only let me post one time. Every thing I see says that system will be a TD soon follow by a TS 24 hrs later then a quick development into a hurricane with landfall on a Gulf Coast state. I wish Bob would actually say something?
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 18, 2007, 3:47 pm
Actually it looks like he gets all his weather info from this website with no forecasting of his own?
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 18, 2007, 3:46 pm
Bob won't give his forecast or track etc on this new system off of Florida because he scared to because he knows he is ALWAYS wrong and not by just a little but a freak'n alot! Then if the storms smacks Louisiana he will take credit for the forecast! lol Funny also he directs you to the underground weather site that HE frequents often! lol and posts!
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 18, 2007, 3:29 pm
If Bob dislikes negativity on his site so much, then why does he call people who think differently from him "squirrels"? Buddy D is no role model if one wants to be a serious broadcaster. Buddy sounded like he had a sandwich in his mouth at all times.

Ok I hope someone reads this from the website. I can't post. It's saying that I have the wrong password. I am SCARED! Almost all of the computer models has this disturbance east of Floriday coming straight for us!!!!
Comment posted by Hurricane Hater! (boss@cajunnet.com), on September 16, 2007, 9:29 am
Still hearing that computer models are forecasting the blob under Hispaniola developing and entering the gulf. Could that large upper level low above it help or hurt it? Are we expecting any cold fronts again to steer it away? What's your take, or am I just overreacting like usual? Thanks

For a freezer full of cash many people will say and do anything.I would like to know how much money the oil companies have made off of the consumers everytime they here the word "Hurricane".
Billions?

I've spent most of my evening outside and have thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather. When can we expect another cold front? Do you foresee any coming again in the near future?
I know that you said in your last post that you didn't see anything that could develop, but I know that 3 of the computer models develop something. Trying to enjoy the weather, but always worrying in the back of my mind what will come at us next! AHHHH!

The NHC has been blasted in recent years for missing the boat on intensity forcasts of storms. I doubt they fudged the data to make their storm # prediction correct and then take the heat for missing on intensity yet again. This storm had the eye, the pressure, and the winds of a cat 1 hurricane. 12 more hrs and we would have seen a monster out there.

Hey Bob,
It is Zack from the Westbank, I came across some numbers from Sea Rim State Park. These winds are not Hurricane Force, but this location was just on the outer edge of the eyewall at landfall.
Sea Rim State Park TX 69 mph at 340 am 85 mph at 340 am
& 429 am 997.0 mb at 300 am

Good thing Humberto didn't come on a weekend or everyone would have listened to Bob and been outside grilling burgers! Bob puts down the state and other media (that laugh at him) for "over-hyping" systems that form, and look what exploded in his back door! A hurricane which could have been real bad for NO if events had been just a little different.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 15, 2007, 9:40 am
Anonymous - defending Bob's actions, where is your name and email? I'[m sure the folks at the National Hurricane Ctr and all of Bob's "hurricane forecater wannabees" as he like to call them feel different. Hey you can defend him til you turn blue the facts are he was been terrible so far on hurricane forecast yet he knocks others and even claims they "fudge" data on their forecasts..
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 15, 2007, 9:03 am
Bob owes no one an apology. He simply can believe what he believes. Just like you can. Never once did he harass another person or bash anyone else. Every post he made was on HIS NAME. He didn't claim to be someone else. If anyone owes anyone an apology it's the anonymous person that harassed Bob and others on this site all hurricane season long! I'm so glad that posting will be done different.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 15, 2007, 12:36 am
NHC never has claimed to have recorded sustained 74+ mph winds from a bouy, those only play a small role in hurricane data collection. Most data does come from recon and radar to get est wind speeds and pressure readings. Just like local media used their own dolar radars to gather local rainfall amounts and wind speeds etc. State Farm is not the only insurer in the Gulf Coast and many do follow the named storm rule in their policies etc. depends on each states insurance commissioner.
Comment posted by Anonymous (Anonymous), on September 15, 2007, 12:24 am
I believe an apology would be in order for claiming that the NHC "fudges" their data on storms. Bob simply is not on the same level as the forecasters at the NHC, Bob is a great TV personality, be he does not fully understand hurricane forecasting or data collection methods. Please stick to professional reporting and not unfounded claims in the future. It's been fun.
